Samantha's Bridesmaid dress

I have probably missed discussion on this...but I would love some feedback from those who have this dress. I think it's ugly in the catalog, but I watched the movie again last night, and I liked the movie version. I am trying to decide if I should snatch it up.

I have it and really like it!!! It is not as Ugly as you may think it is! I love the fabric and color!

Ria...is the fabric that slippery fake satin that nightgowns are sometimes made of?

Jenny, holding it right now, it is slippery satin, and it DOES have a white slip underneath, full skirt! The lace is nice. It is not satin on the inside, it is covered with white fabric, would you like to have me take pics?

My daughter and I also disliked this dress in the catalog. I didn't bother looking at when we were in NY, but my dd did. She said it was gorgeous and now she would like to get it. This is extra surprising since she usually avoids anything with lace or ruffles.

I saw some pics of the dress in one of the hostboard member's albums and it looked really cute. As a matter of fact her pics made me want Samantha, Nellie and their new dresses too.

I did not like it in the catalogue. But liked it in the movie. Bought it for Kaitlin's collection. I think it might look better on an actual doll. But it is a nice fabric. Not one of my favorites but not too bad.

I didn't like it in the catalogue, but it was better in person. The real dress that the actress wore in the movie is very pretty, however. My daughter really liked the dress at AGP Chicago, but we didn't get it since we were set on getting Marisol and her collection.
